The hotel had tastefully appointed rooms with a fridge and a Keurig coffee maker, but there was a constant background static noise at night coming from appliances like the refrigerator and the proximity to the ice machine was a downside. The service was outstanding and the friendliest encountered while traveling, with attention to room cleaning and perks like welcome drinks. The location is excellent, in a quiet business area near North San Diego and the Torrey Pines Golf Course, but some might find the surroundings a bit spartan next to office buildings. The dining options were limited compared to other hotels, with few choices like eggs and sausage, lacking variety and snack bars. Overall, a clean and comfortable stay with excellent service and location, though improvement in dining variety could enhance the experience.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were nice in size but being by the elevator made it very noisy. The cost of $3 for each wash or dry was a bit of a downside. The service was terrific as the staff went out of their way to assist, although they seemed like they were still in training. The location was a bit hard to find without using GPS but it was lovely, especially the bistro meal area with a personal TV. Overall, a decent stay with some minor inconveniences.
